Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Washington state seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams and support radiologists. Responsibilities include setting up procedures, operating equipment, quality control, and reporting results.

A strong emphasis is placed on patient-focused care and collaboration with the DI department. The position requires 2-year radiologic education, state licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technologist Program or Military certificate of completion- Radiology.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: ARRT certification.
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct radiological procedures and perform quality control tasks.
• Operate radiographic equipment and assist radiologists as needed.
• Report imaging results and contribute to department growth and development.

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities include: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications:

Pay Range: $35.44 - $58.94
