Job summary

Avera is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist in Scotland, SD, for PRN coverage. The role requires participation in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a small department with room for independent work.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or currently enrolled and eligible for ARRT certification with preferred CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be eligible for ARRT certification.
• CT certification and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
• Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care
• Maintain competency through continuing education
• Support department workflow and coverage needs
