Job summary

Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital Avera is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services. The PRN position requires coverage based on department needs and participation in an on-call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include performing X-ray procedures, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient safety in a small department with opportunities to work independently. CT training and cross-training are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program; must be eligible for ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS.
• Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

OR

• Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Must be eligible for ARRT certification

Preferred

CT certification and/or experience
