Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures. Rad Techs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role :

  • You will process images.
  • You will prepare patient’s X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and deliver patient service.
  • You will practice proper radiation safety techniques.
  • You will assist in the process of orienting new employees.
  • You will transport patients to and from department.
  • What qualifications you will need :

  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Certificate
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Medical City Plano opened in 1975 and provides Plano and Collin County with advanced health care. Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital. We have more than 2,000 employees and over 1,400 physicians on staff. Our main campus in Plano has a cancer treatment center and cardiovascular programs.
