The Role You’ll Contribute

The Radiology Technologist performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician, under the direction of the Office Manager/Clinical Supervisor. Assists physicians during casting, treatment, and examination of patients.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team

• Maintains current, valid CPR certification and Radiology license.
• Prepares patients for radiology procedures and takes x-rays following established safety protocols.
• Uses gonadal shielding when appropriate, especially for patients of childbearing age and pediatric patients.
• Develops and processes radiology films.
• Maintains organized x-ray film files and ensures timely availability of reports and films for physicians.
• Logs procedures and processes routine paperwork, including report filing.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program
• Valid State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Willingness to float to other practices within reasonable limits

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 Year medical office experience
