Job summary

Mobile X Rays On Demand seeks an X-Ray Technician to perform bedside radiography in the South Texas region. You will receive instructions from doctors and dispatchers, obtain high-quality images, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities include maintaining radiation safety, using shielding and collimation, and operating Digital Radiography equipment under physician supervision. A valid radiology license and driver’s license are required, with bilingual ability

• Operate Digital Radiography equipment independently under physician supervision.

Join the Mobile X-Rays On Demand team as an X-Ray Technician.

As an x-ray technologist, you receive instructions from doctors and office dispatchers regarding the x-rays our patients require. You are responsible for getting clear imaging results, which requires proper use of the x-ray equipment and keeping patients calm and informed throughout the x-ray procedure. If a patient has any questions or concerns about the procedures, you can provide answers and assistance. You must comply with the safety regulations involving the use of radiation to protect yourself, patients, family members, and other staff members from overexposure to radiation.

To lessen radiation risk, you will use a technique chart and patient-shielding, which involves placing lead shields or aprons on parts of a patient's body that are not being radio graphed. You may adjust your x-ray beams (collimate) so that they cover a limited area thus reducing radiation exposure rates. You must also position the radiographic machinery, so it is at a proper distance, angle, and height form the patient. Technologist will be responsible for the independent operation of the Digital Radiography equipment and for performing x-ray exams under the supervision of our physicians.

Technologist are required to maintain current certifications and licensing. Technologist are required to maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times and should be self-motivated. The ability to provide excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism.
