Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging team. You will operate x-ray equipment, perform procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, and deliver quality diagnostic results across ED, hospital, and outpatient settings.

You will maintain expert technical and patient-care skills, adhere to established protocols for diverse patient ages, and contribute to a compassionate, high‑reliability environment at our Denver metro campus.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification.
• Maintain ARRT registry through continuing education.
• BLS certification via AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, move, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray procedures and explain them to patients.
• Serve patients in the ED, hospital, and outpatient settings needing radiology services.
• Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

• You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x‑ray therapy on patients and explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
