Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time, rotating-shift position in Radiology. Under a Radiologist, you will perform radiographic procedures and produce diagnostically acceptable films for interpretation.

You will document patient history, prepare procedure reports, and report findings to the radiologist. Maintain courtesy, professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients and physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration and BCLS required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physics, electricity, and body postures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures under a Radiologist.
• Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostically acceptable films.
• Document patient history and report procedures to the radiologist.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with patients and staff.

Position Purpose:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures. Performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions and produces diagnostically acceptable films for radiologist interpretation. Documents patient history prepares documentation of all procedures/reports completed and reports this to the radiologist. Maintains courtesy, professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, staff and physicians.

Required Qualifications:

• High schooldiploma or equivalent; Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BCLS required.
• Working knowledge of anatomy andprinciples of physics, electricity and variations of anatomical postures.
