Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is seeking a Radiologic Technologist under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor to provide quality patient care and support radiologists. The technologist performs services following accepted standards and contributes to minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.

The role requires completing post high school training and graduation from an accredited radiology program, Florida licensure, ARRT and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Post High School Special Training; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT, BLS.
• Special Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.
