Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA approved radiology program.
• Current or eligible MA Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification (or registry eligible) with certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for exams by reviewing requests and resources.
• Perform exams and ensure patient is ready and dispatched to the next modality.
• Develop and process films per department protocols.
• Perform quality control for film matching and procedure completeness.
• Ensure post-exam information is available for radiologist reports and transmit readings as needed.
• Maintain and use x-ray equipment following guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep appropriate stocks of supplies and complete required paperwork.

There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 – 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch.
