Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist. The role requires verification of orders, patient identification, and execution of radiographic exams following current standards.

The technologist will ensure high-quality images with correct exposure and positioning, maintaining workflow efficiency across the radiology team. Qualified candidates have graduated from a radiology program; ARRT, Florida CRT, and BLS certifications are required, with

• Graduate from a Radiology Program is required.
• Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders on patient chart for proper procedure to be performed.
• Verifies patient identification before proceeding with any procedure.
• Performs all requested exams in accordance with the current filming standard practicemanual. All variations of filming from standard practice must have a documentedexplanation.
• Routinely produces high quality images using proper exposure values and positioning.Images routinely have two visable borders of coning.
• Completes all requested work in a timely and orderly manner to maintain proper patientflow with other staff technologists.
• Assists supervisor or designee in coordinating procedures properly.
