Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) for part-time work in the NYC/Long Island/Westchester region. The RT will perform radiologic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and support patient care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include accurate imaging, patient positioning, documentation, and coordinating with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to ensure efficient center operations. Strong time management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program is required.
• ARRT registration is required at time of hire.
• BLS certification is required at time of hire (ARC or AHA).
• State license/certification applicable is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients under the clinical direction of Medical Providers.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and protection during imaging.
• Assist in transporting patients (e.g., push patients in a wheelchair).
• Document daily controls and calibration; maintain QA/QC logs; submit repair tickets as needed.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of our patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients, including performing patient x‑rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers. In a collaborative manner, the RT will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities | Responsible for x‑ray services as needed

• Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x‑ray services for patients by applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
• Will need to push patient in a wheelchair.
• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.

• Certifications (Required at Time of Hire):
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
