Description

The Radiologic Technologist performs the technical aspects of all adult, geriatric, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal procedures done in Diagnostic Radiology under the direction of the Radiologist. Performs radiographic procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail but requiring independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training - Successful completion of a program in Radiology Technology as accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year - Experience in a hospital radiographic department with demonstrated competencies in all radiologic procedures
