Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri, is hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology Department, seeking someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

CMH uses state-of-the-art technology and a Web-based PACS for rapid image distribution, including a magnetic resonance imaging suite. You will prepare patients, perform examinations, process data, assist with contrast, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
• Skills: Customer service, communication, examination skills, patient safety.
• Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, bending for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for examinations, positioning and immobilizing the patient while considering safety, physical and psychological needs.
• Performing examinations, adjusting control panel settings such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure as necessary.
• Processing data to assure optimal imaging before discharge, re-imaging as necessary.
• Assisting medical staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions.
• Documenting patient information, maintaining detailed records, and updating the electronic health system.
