Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose

Provides technical expertise in Diagnostic Radiographic procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St. Alexius Medical Center.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
    1. Successfully performs clinical procedures
    2. Provides guidance to the Radiology Technologist students to help provide a successful clinical education
    3. Follows established radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
    4. Manages the routine use and the QC requirements of Radiology equipment
    5. Demonstrates professional practice standards
    6. Provides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needs

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.


Registered Technologist (or registry eligible graduate) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire date.


Licensed by the NDMIRT Board to practice Radiography in North Dakota
