Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist II to execute diagnostic imaging procedures with precision. You'll be responsible for documenting clinical information accurately and assisting medical staff and patients during imaging processes.

This role requires collaboration with healthcare team members to facilitate effective patient care, ensuring confidentiality and operational efficiency in the imaging department. Candidates must be ARRT Registered Technologists and adhere to BLS protocols shortly after hiring.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Technologist certification is mandatory.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days post-hire.
• Experience in Radiology preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Radiology Technologist

As a Radiology Technologist II, you'll execute diagnostic imaging procedures, adhering to strict protocols to ensure accuracy and safety. Your role involves meticulous documentation of clinical information before radiologist review, and assisting medical staff and patients in preparation for procedures. You'll face challenges such as managing emergency imaging demands and maintaining patient confidentiality under all circumstances. Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other health‑care team members is crucial to facilitate effective patient care. Your workday is structured around prioritizing tasks based on urgency and maintaining operational efficiency within the imaging department.
