As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care. As a Radiology Technologist

at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:

  1. Producing x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films.
  2. Positioning and instructing patients regarding x-ray procedures.
  3. Performing x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.
  4. Processing films for radiologists' reading/interpretation following established procedures.
  5. Communicating with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.
  6. Maintaining x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contacting outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines.
  7. Promoting effective working relations and working effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that department/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  3. Current license/certification in the state of practice.
  4. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience: $28.15 - $43.42
