The Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a broad range of services to aid in screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include:

• Operating x-ray equipment for radiographs.
• Performing x-ray therapy under radiologist supervision, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.
• Serving emergency, hospital, and outpatient patients.
• Performing procedures according to protocols for patients of all ages.
• Maintaining technical and patient-care skills to ensure quality results.

Qualifications Needed:

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program with ARRT certification.
• Maintain current registry through continuing education.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Preferably 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Vocational School Graduate.
