Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our patient-focused imaging team in Alamogordo, NM. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure radiation safety, and support trauma/ED imaging while delivering compassionate patient care.

This fast-paced role requires at least 2 years of experience, strong communication, and teamwork. We offer a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and scheduling flexibility to ensure safe, high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Radiology Technologist
• Experience in patient positioning and image acquisition
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose awareness
• Experience in portable radiography and trauma/ED imaging support
• Current BLS (CPR) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging per established protocols and quality standards
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety measures and dose awareness
• Conduct portable radiography procedures and provide trauma/ED imaging support as needed
• Assist in the operating room with imaging support and collaborate with the surgical team
• Utilize basic computer skills to manage patient records and operate imaging machinery
• Perform quality assurance checks on radiology equipment and report malfunctions or issues
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and providing comfort measures
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and ensure proper room turnover
• Maintain current BLS (CPR) certification and apply these skills as necessary
