Position Overview: This role involves operating radiographic and CT equipment to produce diagnostic images under physician direction. The technician performs various radiology procedures accurately, reviews exam indications, and reports any immediate concerns to radiologists. They are responsible for managing image data using PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR systems, ensuring proper archiving, transfer, and storage. The role includes maintaining safety, quality standards, infection control, and assisting with staff training and record management.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must have an Associate's degree or completion certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and ARRT certification within 60 days. Visual acuity, effective communication, and teamwork are essential. The ability to work night shifts and adhere to safety and legal standards is required.
