***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide ultrasound services at the scope and level of an Ultrasound Technologist to maintain the health of employees and clients.
  2. Assist and guide Radiographers in performing x-ray procedures.
  3. Perform routine procedures on patients requiring specialized expertise.
  4. Prepare ultrasound area, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies for patients.
  5. Assist Radiologists, Physicians, and allied health professionals in diagnostic or treatment procedures.
  6. Perform diagnostic testing on equipment and conduct general maintenance.
  7. Prepare patients for procedures.
  8. Develop films following photographic techniques.
  9. Monitor patient's and equipment's condition during procedures and report changes to healthcare professionals.
  10. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
  11. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  12. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by positioning, immobilizing, and adjusting equipment.
  13. Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, explaining treatments, and answering questions.
  14. Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff using protective techniques and devices.
  15. Follow infection-control policies and protocols, including drug protocols and emergency procedures.
  16. Maintain production and quality standards for radiographs and other media.
  17. Ensure operation and maintenance of radiology equipment, including troubleshooting and inventory management.
  18. Maintain ultrasound supplies and inventory levels.
  19. Maintain a safe and clean working environment following regulations.
  20. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved Radiology Technologist program (Diploma, Certificate, or Associate's degree).
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including one year of ultrasound experience.
  • Valid license and current registration as a Radiological Technologist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and office equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work in remote, challenging environments.
  • Ability to perform duties in high-stress, fast-paced settings without physical limitations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and shift requirements.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work primarily indoors in an office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
