***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide ultrasound technologist services to preserve the health of employees and clients.
  • Assist and guide radiographers in performing x-ray procedures.
  • Perform routine procedures requiring specialized expertise.
  • Prepare ultrasound area, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies.
  • Assist radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals in diagnostic or treatment procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and equipment maintenance.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and develop films according to photographic techniques.
  • Monitor patient and equipment condition during procedures, reporting changes.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
  • Document patient care services accurately.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for ultrasound procedures, ensuring proper exposure.
  • Reduce patient anxiety by providing explanations and answering questions.
  • Minimize radiation exposure using protective techniques and devices.
  • Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols, and manage drug reactions and emergencies.
  • Maintain quality standards in imaging and develop radiographs.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of radiology equipment.
  • Manage ultrasound supplies and inventory efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with regulations.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completed an approved Radiology Technologist program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate's degree.
  • At least two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including one year in ultrasound.
  • Valid license and current registration as a Radiological Technologist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments.
  • Ability to perform in high-stress, fast-paced settings without physical limitations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and shifts.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work typically performed in an interior/office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
