Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a dedicated Practical Radiology Technician to join our imaging team at Banner Imaging Paradise Valley. The role supports float work across Arcadia, New River Trails and Peoria locations, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and 7:30 AM–5:15 PM shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, state licensure as applicable, and BLS. One year of clinical radiology experience is preferred; relocation and education benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Requires Practical Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope Technologist licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification.
• This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures in line with department/facility/state policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding the procedure to be performed.
• Process prescribed diagnostic radiographic procedures per policy.
• Perform and evaluate equipment quality control; troubleshoot as needed to maintain performance.
• Support efficient department workflow; coordinate with multidisciplinary team and schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety policies.
