Job summary

Adecco seeks a patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic in Des Moines, IA. The role blends diagnostic X-ray duties with clinical support and patient interaction.

The ideal candidate is ARRT(R) certified, licensed, CPR-trained, and comfortable with EMR/PACS systems, contributing to a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT(R) registration.
• Current state license to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays based on physician orders.
• Adjust positioning and imaging techniques to capture requested views.
• Prepare and room patients for examinations.
• Record medical histories, medications, allergies, and vital signs in the EMR.
• Access and manage internal and external PACS images.
• Assist physicians with injections and minor in-office procedures.
• Remove casts, dressings, sutures, and staples as directed.
• Provide basic wound care and apply minor splints when qualified.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Greet and check in patients while verifying their information.
• Clean and maintain X-ray rooms and equipment.
• Stock examination rooms and clinical work areas.
• Follow all radiation safety, quality assurance, and patient confidentiality standards.

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)

Location: Des Moines, IA | Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

We are seeking a patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position combines diagnostic X-ray responsibilities with hands-on clinical support, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, patient interaction, and working closely with physicians and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostic X-rays based on physician orders

Pay Details
