Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited radiology program, current radiology certification, and BLS certification renewed every two years. The position reports to the Surgical Center/Nursing leadership and carries full-time

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current certification as a radiology technician.
• Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiological tests as scheduled or requested with appropriate skill and in a timely manner.
• Obtains images using appropriate equipment and transfers images to PACS.
• Documents tests and procedures via computer.
• Assists with office and clinical functions and supports OR-related tasks.
• Monitors radiology supplies, equipment certification, and maintains logs.
