Job summary

Universal Health Services Corona Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist per diem to support supervision of imaging procedures and assist the department director in diagnostic imaging operations.

The role requires performing technical procedures with independent judgement in a busy hospital setting, under the director's guidance. California certification/licensing is required with ARRT/CRT credentials and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred; acute care experience preferred.
• Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the ARRT/CRT required; Fluoroscopy Permit required; BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist department director in supervising imaging procedures performed by staff.
• Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement and initiative.
• Report to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging in a per diem capacity.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or equivilent required.

Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred, acute care experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists (ARRT and CRT) required. Current Certification by the State of California Fluoroscopy Permit required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
