Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is recruiting an outpatient Radiology Technician to join our imaging team. The schedule is Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday, with a typical 7:30am–4:00pm shift and no weekends or holidays.

As a radiology professional you will perform imaging procedures to standards, report to the department Director or Manager, and serve a broad patient population from neonates to older adults.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Science required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registration required.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Essential Functions Additional Information
• Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

What we are looking for:

• Associate Degree in Science required Bachelor's degree preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
