Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide medical services as a Radiology Technician to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, mammography, and ultrasounds. Document patient care accurately in records.
  3. Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting equipment controls.
  4. Gain patient cooperation by explaining procedures and addressing questions to reduce anxiety.
  5. Minimize radiation exposure by practicing radiation safety techniques, using beam-restrictive devices, and shielding.
  6. Follow infection-control policies and protocols; manage reactions to contrast media and provide first aid when necessary.
  7. Maintain image quality and production standards; develop radiographs and evaluate results for necessary adjustments.
  8. Ensure proper operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  9. Manage supplies and inventory, including ordering and verifying receipt of necessary materials.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  11. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate degree.
  • Possess an unrestricted state license or ARRT certification.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technician.
  • Current certification in BLS or CPR.
  • Experience in performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.
  • Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and common office equipment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Recent clinical experience in direct patient care, with a minimum of 6 months in the last 12 months in the field.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Possible bending, stooping, and lifting for patient care and transport.
