Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a licensed radiologic technologist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform radiology exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, current CPR, graduates from an accredited X-ray program, and has at least two years of experience. This float position covers Fremont and surrounding areas, with a schedule that includes varied shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must maintain CE requirements.
• Graduate of accredited X-ray program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in radiology.
• Knowledge of PACS and CD printing imaging files.

Responsibilities

• Complies with HIPAA and OSHA rules.
• Prepares patients for radiographic procedures and takes images.
• Prepares and injects contrast when needed for imaging.
• Ensures equipment is in working order; reports malfunctions.
• Logs procedures and processes related paperwork.
• Develops and processes images to film and CD; sends studies to Radiologist.
• Maintains exam rooms and stocks supplies.
• Manages records and charting as needed.
• Performs QA on equipment to meet accreditation requirements.
• Maintains medical inventory and processes orders.
• Copies records when requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
