Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of Imaging Services to include the specialty areas of routine diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays, and fluoroscopy. What You Will Do In This Role:
  1. Obtain quality diagnostic images.
  2. Scan in labels and document appropriately.
  3. Resolve QA issues in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure orders are valid and entered appropriately.
  6. Transport patients as needed.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
  1. Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology is required.
  2. Current registration with A.R.R.T. is required.
  3. Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is required.
  4. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
  5. One year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
