Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Arkansas seeks a Radiology Technician to deliver high-quality imaging services and compassionate patient care. This PRN role includes day and variable shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting, serving diverse patient ages.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiology program with Arkansas Radiation Operator certification and BLS, with CT experience considered a plus. Flexibility and strong attention to safety are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program, required.
• Current Arkansas Radiation Operator Certificate, required.
• BLS certification, required.
• CT experience a plus (will train).
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, if needed and handle physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following established standards and safety protocols.
• Review patient history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media/medications within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when needed.
• Accurately document and transmit imaging results.
• Support departmental workflow and participate in ongoing education
