Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC seeks a Radiology Technician for weekend scheduling in a full-time capacity. The 355-bed acute care facility provides inpatient and outpatient imaging services and is part of Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Science required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Patient populations served range from Neonate to Older Adult.

How You'll Contribute:

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Essential Functions Additional Information
• Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
