Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT within 6 months of hire and BCLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient history and educate patients on procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patients and report any status changes.
  • Select appropriate exposure factors for imaging.
  • Implement safety standards and quality control on equipment.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
  • Analyze imaging results and address quality issues.

Radiology Technician - Orthopedics

Schedule: PRN

Radiology Technician joining our team is dedicated to making communities healthier. Your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.

How You'll Contribute
  • Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient’s understanding and cooperation.
  • When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s).
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
  • Enter, transmit and report scan results.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Associate’s Degree required.
