Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, CA is seeking a Radiology Technician to perform radiographic procedures across the OR, ER, and general departments. The role requires strong patient care, radiation safety, and charting accuracy as you contribute to high-quality imaging services.

You will work under the Radiology Shift Coordinator, using various radiographic equipment and maintaining sterile techniques in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology completion is required.
• Three years of experience in a Radiology department.
• ARRT certification required.
• CRT certification required.
• State Fluoroscopy license required.
• BLS required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and understanding of physics, electricity and exposure methods.
• Ability to set-up and operate radiograph equipment and provide patient care with sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the Radiology Shift Coordinator, perform a variety of radiographic procedures.
• Perform radiographic procedures in the OR and ER as required.
• Prepare patients for roentgenographic or fluoro exams, and process and develop x-ray film.
• Provide radiographic services to neonates, children, adolescents, adults and elderly patients.
• Enter and process information in the computer system, observe radiation safety, and comply with hospital safety policies and procedures.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Under direction of the Radiology Shift Coordinator, you will perform a variety of radiographic procedures
• You will perform radiographic procedures in the OR and ER as required
• You will prepare patients for roentgenographic or fluoro exams, and process and develop x-ray film in any film processor
• You will be responsible for providing radiographic services to neonates, children, adolescents, adults and elderly patients
• You will enter and process information in the computer system, know and practice radiation safety for self and patients, and be knowledgeable of, observe and comply with hospital safety policies, emergency procedures, and standard precautions

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• Three years of experience in a Radiology department required
• ARRT certification required
• CRT certification required
• State Fluoroscopy license required
• BLS required
• Knowledge of anatomy and understanding of principles of physics, electricity and the methods of exposure required
• Ability to set-up and operate radiograph equipment of diverse variety, and knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques required
