Job summary

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Radiology Technologist to join the Imaging Services team at our Richlands, VA facility. You will perform imaging procedures, review orders, and educate patients about the exams to ensure cooperation and safety.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration within a clinical team, with opportunities for ongoing education and shift flexibility in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate or associate degree required; ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

How you'll contribute

A Rad Tech who excels in this role:

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice

What we're looking for:

Applicants must have two year certificate or associates degreesuccessfully passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Additional requirements include:

• BLS certification.

Hourly range $25.89- $34.96
