Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures per physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate radiographs for quality.
• Position patients skillfully, including in trauma or surgical cases.
• Consult with physicians for correct imaging levels.
• Minimize radiation exposure using proper techniques.
• Prepare sterile setups under fluoroscopy standards.
• Obtain accurate patient histories and document properly.
• Ensure correct patient charges and timely record entry.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe examination environment.
• Follow safety regulations and wear radiation badges.
• Assist in training new staff and students.
• Complete mandatory education and certifications.
• Maintain professional licenses and certifications.
• Work overtime or additional shifts as needed.

Beacon Health System, Elkhart, Indiana. Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift, Mon-Fri 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM.
