Job summary

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Tech for weekend shifts: Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, from 7a-7p, totaling 36 hours per week.

The Radiologic Technologist interprets physician requests and performs radiographic exams, while also working in an additional modality such as CT or MRI. Commitment to patient safety and comfort is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT or equivalent.
• CT and/or MRI experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician requests and performs radiographic exams.
• Works independently in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography) and conducts exams with patient safety in mind.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Job description

Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Tech, X-Ray/CT.

This position is weekends, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7a-7p, 36 hours per week.

The Radiologic Technologist interprets physician's requests, performs Radiographic exams and other duties related to the production of quality radiographs. The Radiologic Technologist works independently in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography) and conducts exams in a manner conducive to the patient's safety and comfort.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or equivalent.
• Previous CT and/or MRI experience preferred, but not required.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be ARRT registered.
• Must maintain licensure by ISBH.
• CPR Certified
