Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking a Radiology Tech Student to perform ionizing radiation procedures under the supervision of a Registered Technologist. The role focuses on producing quality diagnostic images and practicing established radiation safety.

Additional duties may be assigned within scope of the Radiology department. Must be a high school graduate and enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation under supervision to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure image quality and anatomically correct views for Radiologist.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and departmental safety guidelines.
