Job summary

Sentara Independence/ Virginia Beach General Hospital seeks a Radiology Tech II to perform general diagnostic radiologic imaging under physician supervision. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, room preparation, and documentation, with ARRT certification and 1 year of experience preferred.

Base pay ranges from $33.25 to $49.11 hourly, with potential shift differentials and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate.
• ARRT certification/licensure required.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general diagnostic radiologic imaging studies under physician direction.
• Position patients for correct anatomy/pathology demonstrations and operate imaging equipment.
• Prepare patient room/equipment/medications and maintain supplies.
• Explain procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation.
