Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Highly developed customer service and phone etiquette skills.
• Ability to assimilate into a small department and work independently.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all patient information.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent telephone communication to speak clearly to patients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; experience with EPIC and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to departmental procedures and life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements.
• Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates in departmental training.
• Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed.
• Demonstrates courteous behavior and positive attitude through polite communication with coworkers and guests.
• Assists in patient flow and helps optimize throughput with Transport team.
