Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Camden, NJ. The role supports Portables, ER, Trauma, Fluoro OR and General radiology, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care across a busy hospital network.

You will maintain licensure, stay current with safety requirements,and participate in ongoing departmental training while providing courteous service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of radiologic technologist experience
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to departmental procedures for life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety and Infection Control.
  • Performs radiologic procedures (Portables, ER, Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed.
  • Maintains licensure, stays current and participates in departmental training.
  • Demonstrates courteous behavior and customer service to internal and external guests.
  • Assists with patient flow and throughput with Transport team.

Short Description

Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements. Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates departmental training offered. Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/guests. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies, maintains paperwork particular to each department/office. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Transport team.

Education Requirements

HS or equivalent required

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school.

Associates degree preferred

License/Certification Requirements

Radiologic Technologist (RT) CertificationNew Jersey Department of Environmental Protection LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification

IR cert preferred

Special Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Must demonstrate competency in the performance of vascular procedures
