Job summary

Okeene Municipal Hospital and Schallmo Trust Authority is seeking a Radiographer with PRN status to perform high-quality diagnostic exams and assist in scheduling during shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferably ARRT certification and experience in general radiography.

This role involves a significant amount of standing and patient positioning, with requirements for rotating evening, weekend, and holiday call coverage. Competitive hourly base pay is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and a current BLS CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred.
• Current ARRT (R) certification (or eligibility within 6 months of hire) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in general radiography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams following protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within your accepted scope.
• Conduct essential diagnostic tests including EKGs and patient education.
• Assist with scheduling for radiology and related tests during your shift.
• Verify provider orders and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work environment.

Strong patient communication skills

Ability to work independently during call shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
