Crown Point Surgery Center is hiring a Radiology Tech PRN

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate x-ray equipment to capture radiographs as specified by physicians.
  2. Adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage, and current following radiation safety protocols.
  3. Prepare and set up medical supplies and instruments.
  4. Explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately.
  5. Monitor patient condition and report changes.
  6. Assist with fluoroscopic examinations and radiographic studies.
  7. Record and label film exposures appropriately.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Professional verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
