Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. You'll operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images, with a good degree of independence while contributing to accurate diagnoses across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration required or preferred.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with department protocols.
• Administer radiopaque contrast material for enhanced exams under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment using proper protective devices and practices.
• Stay attentive to patient needs throughout exams, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Solve problems independently with limited supervision.
