Job summary

Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images, with a Monday-Friday day shift offering solid work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduates from AMA-approved radiologic technology programs.
• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification current (AHA or Red Cross).
• IEMA licensure required by Illinois.
• Previous radiology experience preferred by the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with department protocols.
• Administer radiopaque contrast material for enhanced exams under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment using proper protective devices and practices.
• Stay attentive to patient needs throughout exams and take appropriate action.
• Solve problems independently with limited supervision.

Education

AMA-approved radiologic technology program

ARRT registration

Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
