Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to adhere to departmental procedures, perform procedures across ER, Trauma, Fluoro OR and General settings, and maintain patient flow. The role emphasizes courteous patient interactions and safety compliance.

Must hold ARRT Certification, NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology License, and BLS, with 0-2 years experience (3-5 preferred). The position is hospital-based with shift work in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• HS required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Current BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire).
• Current ARRT Certification and NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology License.
• Demonstrates effective communication; able to lift patients and stand for long periods.

Short Description

Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements. Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates departmental training offered. Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/guests. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies, maintains paperwork particular to each department/office. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Transport team.

Education Requirements

HS required. Associate's degree preferred

Must meet all educational requirements necessary to obtain ARRT certification according to your graduation date

License/Certification Requirements
