Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Per Diem Radiologic Technologist at Mount Holly, NJ. The role involves performing radiologic procedures with strict radiation safety, maintaining high-quality images, and documenting patient information per physician orders.

The ideal candidate will have completed an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, be ARRT-registered or eligible, hold NJDEP licensure, and preferably CPR certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• NJDEP licensure required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist, while applying principles of radiation safety and protection at all times.
• Evaluates images with goal of producing radiographic images of the highest diagnostic quality.
• Consistently provides thorough and accurate documentation. Obtains pertinent medical information prior to the procedure, reviews and verifies physicians' orders.
• Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of radiographic equipment and computer systems including RIS, PACS, Web viewer, and ADW workstation.
• Provides instruction to and assists in training new staff or student radiologic technologists.
