Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a Clinical Care Order Organizer (O2) to coordinate prioritization and scheduling of procedures and diagnostic tests across the hospital. Based in the HUB, this role provides a system-wide view to optimize patient flow for ED and inpatient settings.

The O2 will apply extensive clinical knowledge to assess and sequence tests, collaborate with care teams, and help reduce discharge delays while maintaining safety and high-quality care for all patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in a health related field.
• Three (3) or more years' experience in a health related field.
• Multiple service area experience preferred.
• Imaging Services licenser.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization-wide prioritization and scheduling of service area procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Utilize extensive clinical knowledge to assess, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tests for ED and inpatients in the health system to ensure optimal patient flow.
• Coordinate scheduling to reduce discharge delays while maintaining safety and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with care teams across departments to ensure efficient patient care processes.

The position (O2) is located in the HUB (Clinical Care Coordination Center), which has a system wide view of the hospital, including 24/7 central coordination of patient admission, placement, transportation, service department testing and procedures.
