Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech credential.
- ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred with ability to obtain ARRT within one year.
- Associate degree preferred; active BLS certification required at hire.
Responsibilities
- Maintains department policies, procedures, and safety.
- Performs radiographic examinations.
- Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
- Maintains stock for each radiography room.
- Develops film and evaluates technical quality.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized.
- Transports patients to radiography room and prepares space.
- Participates in educational programs and attends required meetings.
