Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technician to perform radiology exams and to maintain quality control across equipment and processing systems. The role also includes preparing images for review by off-site radiologists and performing routine laboratory procedures as needed.

Candidates should complete a radiology, laboratory, or medical technology program, be registered by AART or certified as MT/MLT, and demonstrate clear English communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of radiology, laboratory, or medical technology program.
• Registered by AART, or MT/MLT certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers.
• English fluency (read/write) required.
• Two years Rad Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all radiological exams with verified competency.
• Documents quality control procedures on radiographs and equipment; evaluates results.
• Performs preventative maintenance on radiology processing equipment.
• Prepares images for transport to off-site radiologist for over-reading.
